The beautiful cockatoo by Leila Jeffreys was the i The beautiful cockatoo by Leila Jeffreys was the inspiration for this playful family bathroom with his gentle palette of colours setting the tone for the space.

The rhythm of the @ottolinedevries Roman blind fabric is echoed in the reeded @studio.ham vanity, bath panel and wavy mirror, as well as the soft scalloped @starel_stones tiles behind the bath. A splash of colour on the vanity and blue & white horizontal stripes in the shower add to the fun.

An art-led space layered with pattern, texture and personality. đź“·@boz_gagovski

Curtains — the gentle veil between exterior and in Curtains — the gentle veil between exterior and interior.
A striped, patterned, or coloured lining — especially when you play with scale — can feel both comforting and unexpectedly joyful, like the flash of a beautifully tailored jacket lining. Especially attractive in spaces where curtains are visible from outside or another room.
In the right setting, we also love introducing colour to the woodwork for an added layer of character and depth and to frame the window. #adashoftheinexpected #consideredinteriors #inspiringinteriors #studiobellew #interiordesign
Designed on a smaller scale, but with the same att Designed on a smaller scale, but with the same attention to detail, this little guest bedroom in the eaves is proof that small can still feel special.

A headboard rising as high as the ceiling allows, a softly gathered valance in ticking stripe, a painted wardrobe by artist Amanda Tempest Radford, with walls and ceilings painted in Jonquil @edwardbulmerpaint — each element working together to create a dolls house like space – a country house bedroom in miniature with chintz at the window, where the cosiest of corners invites you in. #inspiringinteriors #studiobellew #chintz #smallbedroom #interiordesign
We really appreciated seeing the specialist paint We really appreciated seeing the specialist paint finishes and patterns in the Hammersmith Studio Townhouse of Beata Heuman. Her witty and surreal use of paint effects bring a depth and texture to surfaces, both chic and stimulating they invite you to throw your eyes around the room. Interesting too to see her use of matt and gloss finishes creating contrast, absorbing and reflecting light.

Always love to see a painted ceiling which she does so well. What an inspiring visit – thankyou @beataheuman #specialistpainteffects

This week marks the Tibetan festival of Losar — a This week marks the Tibetan festival of Losar — a celebration of renewal and the start of a new year. We recently used this hand-printed Tibet wallpaper from Clarence House in this cloakroom design for a family also embracing a new beginning, relocating from Asia to the UK.

The rest of the house is calm and restrained so the bold contrast of this room is a delightful surprise, a touch of the unexpected. The warmth of the woodwork painted in Sang de Boeuf, the understated horn wall lights and the marble come together to create a space of quiet drama and richness. đź“·@boz_gagowski.com. #wallpaper #inspiringinteriors #cloakroom #tibet #interiordesign

One of the questions we are often asked is “how do One of the questions we are often asked is “how do you choose the right rug?”

It always comes down to size, scale, colour and pattern. A rug should anchor a room, not float in it. Going generous with scale grounds the furniture and instantly makes a space feel calmer and more luxurious.

In this sitting room, we kept walls and upholstery simple, instead layering textures — deep-pile green velvet against linens — and introduced pattern through the rug. The curtain printed border is subtly echoed in the cushions so it feels pulled together but not overdone. When in doubt, go larger — it’s often the difference between a room that looks finished and one that doesn’t. 📷@boz_gagovski #colour #rug #pattern #interiordesign #suffolk
It was exciting to see this Gentleman’s Dressing R It was exciting to see this Gentleman’s Dressing Room in our London project close to completion when we visited earlier this week.

As always, it’s the thoughtful, custom details that make the difference. A bespoke antique-bronze curtain pole, designed to resolve a tricky corner position, allows the curtains to draw fully back, maximising natural light, while the custom joinery echoes the scrolling fern motif of the curtain’s beautifully detailed edge.
