How We Work

Sophie Grattan Bellew is an interior design studio based in Suffolk and London, working on residential projects, commercial projects.

We offer three services to our clients as we understand that every project varies so much in terms of its size, budget and timescale.

1. Full Interior Design Service:

This is a full interior design service from start to finish.

Once we have met you and both agreed to take on the project we welcome you to email us as many images and as much information about your project before our first official meeting to ensure that we kick off to the best possible start. We then create a concept and design scheme with or for you and spend time planning the project so that we can give you a detailed estimate as well as a realistic timescale. We guide you through the whole design process and all its stages from conception through to completion to ensure that we achieve everything that you are after.

2. Decorating Consultation:

Many people prefer to manage their own projects and so a decorating consultation service works better for them than the full interior design service. Together we discuss, listen and interpret the look and feel you would like and then we show you how you can best achieve it. Together we will design a scheme for you using our extensive fabric library, wallpapers, knowledge and resources.

3. Paint Consultation:

There are so many choices to make when it comes to paint colours and finishes that it can sometimes feel quite overwhelming and stressful. Come to us for a paint consultation and we will create a detailed paint schedule for your decorator to follow. We can arrange a meeting with you at your home so that we can calmly choose the appropriate paint colours and finishes with you for your woodwork, walls, radiators, cornice and skirting. This service saves you a lot of time and energy in the long run and enables you to move your project forward in a more efficient way.
