This is something we love to do and very much part of our style The garden and plants in turn inspiring art, ceramics, textiles, wallpaper and colours.

The passage of time ... Antique Starburst lights d The passage of time ... Antique Starburst lights draw the eye through to art work by @daisyparris and the light and airy space beyond. A newly constructed entrance, hall way and passage were created to connect the The Georgian Hall and Front door to the Victorian Cottage. #rogerbalmerdesign #art from @ellijasonfoster curator 📷@boz_gagowski
Art by Sophie Anne- Wyth and Japanese prints hang Art by Sophie Anne- Wyth and Japanese prints hang against the original wood cladding, soaring ceilings, and layers of lived-in texture, colour and pattern create a space with humble, effortless glory.
Yak-wool throws, lined in a block print, used as curtains, a piano in the corner, books and accumulated treasure piled up — a place to hunker down, celebrate, or lose track of time.… all wrapped in family warmth. 📷@boz_gagowski 📷@kitdixonsmith
The starting point was the piano and the disco bal The starting point was the piano and the disco ball….. our wonderful clients wanted these to be included in this room.

Our client loved neutrals and a paired back quality, so we worked with a restrained colour palette - walls painted in Canvas II @paintandpaperlibrary keeps this soft and natural. A mix of textures, the Gesso finish on the ceiling light contrasts with the jute rug on the original wood flooring retaining its patina, bronze lights, travertine side tables and the soft hexagon ottoman, through to the printed material gave this depth and interest. Light floods into this room with floor to ceiling windows with shutters, curtains were used only on one window at the far end of the room to add softness.

Colour was brought in through the artwork @romart and @studiolenca @ellijasonfoster Elli Foster art curator (personal collection). 📷@boz_gagowski
A fresh perspective into the Kitchen seating area A fresh perspective into the Kitchen seating area seen in our last post —
The artwork and the vase sit above the clean lines of the elegant leather wrapped table, looking through to the @davidseyfried sofa with its diagonal stripes and mustard painted legs adding a dash of the unexpected.
