Sophie's love affair with interiors began in childhood and since then she has been involved in the design world: in particular interiors, textiles, art and fashion.

Sophie was inspired at an early age by her mother's interior design business and her extended family from the West of Ireland, Thailand and South Africa.  It was staying with relations in these places which gave her an appreciation for different ways of life and subsequently refine her own visions for the interior.

Sophie studied at Wimbledon College of Art and London College of Fashion. Following that, she worked for Roger Burton at Contemporary Wardrobe Collection, English interior and textile designer Harriet Anstruther, Raffa Fashions in Abu Dhabi and Martin Waller at Andrew Martin.

In 1996 Sophie co-founded Paint Library with David Oliver.  Nina Campbell, Neisha Crosland, and Allegra Hicks had paint and wallpaper collections under licence or distributed by Paint Library and for Sophie, working alongside and learning from these talented, but very different designers, has been an influence and education.

Sophie started work as an Interior Designer in 2008.  She takes great pleasure in working with clients, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment, combined with informal elegance.  It is important to Sophie to absorb the spirit of the building, the setting, listen to her clients wishes and gently inspire.
